The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), according to its Act, is saddled with the responsibilities of professionalization of teaching profession. It is established as a regulatory body to control and regulate the affairs of teachers in Nigeria.
The enactment of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN Decree N0. 31 of 1993, now TRCN Act CAP T3 of 2004) is a major boost towards the regulation, control, recognition and clothing with dignified apparels the teachers and the teaching profession in Nigeria.
