The Legislature
The Legislature, composed of the National Assembly (Senate and House of Representatives), represents the voice of the people and plays a pivotal role in law-making. It is through the Legislature that laws are debated, proposed, and enacted. The Legislature also exercises oversight over the Executive, ensuring that government actions align with the aspirations and interests of the Nigerian people. Through its committee system and legislative inquiries, the Legislature scrutinizes the activities of the Executive, holding it accountable for its decisions and policies.
